Mark Toso, President and Founder of TriNet Healthcare Consultants, Inc. specializes in health care operations, capital planning, strategic planning, physician business development and business plan development. With more than 30 years of health care industry experience, his client consulting engagements have encompassed operations, reimbursement, managed care, valuations, strategic planning and new business development. He has worked closely with senior management teams and boards of directors to facilitate project completions with demonstrated results. He has worked in the development and integration of business planning activities for his clients.

He is known for his creativity and problem solving skills to assist his clients in meeting their project objectives in a timely manner. Throughout his career, Mark has earned a reputation for his expertise with the critical issues impacting upon health care organizations. He has worked in the development and integration of healthcare organizations, strategic business planning and virtually all aspects of healthcare management activities for his clients.

Clients served range from major teaching hospitals, community hospitals, critical access hospitals specialty hospitals, multi-hospital systems, proprietary hospitals, large and small physician practices, nursing homes and home health agencies.

Prior to forming TriNet, Mark was a Senior Vice President for Network, Inc., a Senior Vice President for Amherst Associates Inc. (II), and a Divisional Vice President for HBO & Company, a Senior Vice President of Amherst Associates Inc. and a Senior Consultant for Coopers and Lybrand. Mark has served on the Board of Directors of four of these companies in directing their healthcare services.

His Bachelors (BBA) and Masters (MSBA) degree in Finance is from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA with Honors. Mark has a CPA from Massachusetts where he was awarded an honorable mention on the exam. Mark is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association where he has served on the Board of Directors and as a Committee Chairman for over ten years. In addition, he has served on the Board of the Managed Care Forum of the HFMA in Chicago. Mark has actively presented seminars for the HFMA, the AHA, the MHA and other healthcare organizations as well as publishing over 20 articles.
